FontWave Audio Typography Studio

Privacy Policy

This policy explains how FontWave Audio Typography Studio handles information while providing real-time, audio-driven glyph modulation, live previews, and exportable presets through the browser side panel.

Effective date: July 13, 2026

FontWave Audio Typography Studio is designed as a local creative tool. It does not require an account, does not maintain a database of users, and does not send audio, glyph designs, or exported presets to a developer-operated server.

1. Purpose and Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the FontWave Audio Typography Studio browser extension. It describes how information is handled when users open the extension's side panel, preview audio-reactive typography, modify glyph behavior, or export a preset.

The extension is intended to support creative typography work by allowing glyph shapes to respond in real time to an audio waveform. Its functions include live visual preview, parameter adjustment, and preset export within the browser environment.

FontWave Audio Typography Studio is not an advertising platform, social network, account-based cloud service, analytics product, or content-hosting service.

2. How FontWave Audio Typography Studio Operates

The extension is accessed through the Chrome side panel. When the user opens the panel, the interface provides controls for adjusting how glyph shapes react to an audio waveform and displays a live preview of the resulting typography.

The extension performs its design and preview functions within the browser. It does not need to inspect the user's browsing history, read unrelated webpage content, or monitor activity on other websites in order to provide its declared features.

Closing the side panel, disabling the extension, or closing the browser ends the active session. The extension does not create a hidden activity log or maintain a remote history of the user's design process.

3. Audio Processing

Audio input or waveform information used by the extension is processed only to drive the real-time visual modulation requested by the user. The purpose of this processing is to translate changes in the waveform into visible changes in glyph shape and movement.

FontWave Audio Typography Studio does not use audio to identify a person, infer personal characteristics, create an advertising profile, or analyze the user's environment for unrelated purposes.

The extension does not intentionally upload audio content, waveform data, or audio-derived design information to the developer or to an external service. No cloud-based recording archive is created by the extension.

4. Presets, Live Preview, and Exported Files

The live preview reflects settings selected by the user during the current design session. These settings may include modulation intensity, glyph response, timing, and other visual parameters offered by the extension.

When the user chooses to export a preset, the extension creates the export for the user's own use. Exported preset files are not automatically uploaded, shared, published, or sent to the developer.

The user remains responsible for how exported presets are stored, distributed, or shared after leaving the extension. Any third-party storage provider or website used afterward operates under its own privacy terms.

5. Information the Extension Does Not Collect

FontWave Audio Typography Studio does not require registration and does not ask users to provide a name, email address, telephone number, payment method, account credential, or profile information.

The extension does not collect or maintain records of:

  • Browsing history, visited URLs, search activity, bookmarks, or open tabs;
  • Audio recordings, waveform histories, microphone archives, or listening profiles;
  • Glyph designs, live-preview sessions, exported presets, or design histories;
  • IP addresses, precise location, device identifiers, or demographic information;
  • Advertising identifiers, behavioral profiles, telemetry, or usage analytics.

Because these categories of information are not collected, the developer does not maintain a personal-data database associated with the extension.

6. Browser Permissions and Their Use

FontWave Audio Typography Studio requests only the browser permission needed to provide its declared side-panel interface.

sidePanel

This permission allows the extension to display its interface inside the Chrome side panel. The side panel contains the live preview, audio-reactive typography controls, and preset export tools.

The permission is not used to monitor unrelated browsing activity, read the content of websites, collect page data, or follow users across tabs. Its purpose is limited to presenting the extension's own interface in the designated browser area.

7. Remote Code and External Processing

FontWave Audio Typography Studio does not use remote code. The executable code required for the extension's functionality is included in the installed extension package.

The extension does not download additional executable logic from an external server at runtime and does not depend on third-party advertising, tracking, or analytics services to provide the live preview or preset export features.

8. Data Sharing, Sale, and Disclosure

FontWave Audio Typography Studio does not sell, rent, license, trade, or disclose personal information. It does not share user data with advertisers, analytics companies, data brokers, social networks, or marketing platforms.

Because the extension does not collect personal information or retain user-created design content on a developer-operated server, there is ordinarily no user data available for commercial sharing or disclosure.

9. Advertising, Analytics, and Cross-Site Tracking

The extension does not display advertising and does not include advertising SDKs, tracking pixels, third-party cookies, browser fingerprinting, session replay tools, or behavioral analytics.

FontWave Audio Typography Studio does not track users across websites, build interest profiles, combine activity from different domains, or use design choices for personalized marketing.

10. Security and Data Retention

The extension minimizes privacy risk by avoiding the collection and transmission of personal information and user-created design content. Audio-reactive processing and live preview functions are performed locally in the browser.

No software system can eliminate every possible security risk. However, the extension follows a limited-purpose design by requesting only the permission connected to its visible side-panel interface and by avoiding a developer-controlled archive of audio or presets.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be revised if the extension's features, permissions, or information practices change. Any updated version will include a revised effective date and will describe the extension's current behavior.

If a future release introduces data collection, cloud synchronization, external processing, or additional browser permissions, this policy will be updated accordingly before those practices are represented as part of the extension.

12. Contact

Questions, privacy inquiries, or requests for clarification may be sent to the support address listed on the extension's official browser-extension store page.
