Pathfinder Puzzle is designed as a self-contained browser game. It does not require an account, does not collect puzzle histories, and does not send gameplay activity to a developer-operated server.
1. Purpose and Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the Pathfinder Puzzle browser extension. It describes how information is handled when users open the extension from the browser toolbar and interact with its node-connection puzzle.
Pathfinder Puzzle presents a compact challenge in which the user drags nodes to connect all anchors and form a valid route without allowing lines to cross. The extension is intended solely as a lightweight puzzle experience accessible from the toolbar popup.
The extension is not an account service, advertising platform, analytics product, social network, or cloud-based game platform.
2. How Pathfinder Puzzle Operates
The game starts when the user opens the extension popup. The puzzle board, anchors, draggable nodes, and route-validation logic are presented inside the extension's own interface.
User actions such as dragging a node, connecting an anchor, restarting a puzzle, or completing a route are processed locally in the browser for the immediate purpose of running the game.
Pathfinder Puzzle does not need to inspect the current webpage, read browsing history, access open tabs, or monitor activity outside its popup in order to provide its declared functionality.
3. Puzzle Interactions and Progress
Node positions, connection paths, route validity, and completion state are used only to update the active puzzle session and provide visual feedback to the user.
Pathfinder Puzzle does not create a remote gameplay profile, leaderboard account, behavioral score, or persistent history of solved and unsolved puzzles.
Closing the popup, disabling the extension, or closing the browser may end the current session. The extension does not intentionally upload puzzle progress or interaction data to the developer.
4. Information Pathfinder Puzzle Does Not Collect
Pathfinder Puzzle does not require registration and does not ask users to provide personal information in order to play.
The extension does not collect or maintain records of:
- Names, email addresses, telephone numbers, or account credentials;
- Browsing history, visited URLs, search activity, bookmarks, or open tabs;
- Puzzle histories, node movements, completion times, scores, or gameplay analytics;
- IP addresses, precise location, device identifiers, or demographic information;
- Advertising identifiers, behavioral profiles, telemetry, or session recordings.
Because these categories of information are not collected, the developer does not maintain a personal-data or gameplay database associated with Pathfinder Puzzle.
5. Browser Permissions and Access
Pathfinder Puzzle operates through its toolbar popup and does not require access to webpage content, browsing history, tabs, or user accounts for its core function.
The extension's interface and gameplay logic are contained within the extension package. Any standard browser capabilities used to display the popup are limited to presenting and running the puzzle itself.
Pathfinder Puzzle does not use browser access to monitor users, inspect unrelated content, or collect information from websites.
6. Remote Code and External Processing
Pathfinder Puzzle does not use remote code. The executable logic, puzzle interface, route validation, and visual assets required for the game are included in the installed extension package.
The extension does not download additional executable scripts from an external server at runtime and does not depend on third-party processing services to run the puzzle.
8. Advertising, Analytics, and Cross-Site Tracking
Pathfinder Puzzle does not display advertising and does not include advertising SDKs, tracking pixels, third-party cookies, browser fingerprinting, session replay tools, or behavioral analytics.
The extension does not follow users across websites, build interest profiles, or combine activity from multiple domains. Its operation is limited to the puzzle interface opened by the user.
9. Security and Data Retention
Pathfinder Puzzle minimizes privacy risk by avoiding the collection and transmission of personal information and gameplay records. Puzzle interactions are processed locally in the browser for the active session.
No software system can eliminate every possible security risk. However, the extension follows a limited-purpose design and does not create a developer-controlled archive of puzzle activity.
10. Children's Privacy
Pathfinder Puzzle does not knowingly collect personal information from children or from users of any age. The extension does not provide account registration, messaging, targeted advertising, or social networking features.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be revised if the extension's features, permissions, or information practices change. Any updated version will include a revised effective date and will describe the extension's current behavior.
If a future release introduces data collection, online leaderboards, cloud progress, external processing, or additional permissions, this policy will be updated accordingly.
12. Contact
Questions, privacy inquiries, or requests for clarification may be sent to the support address listed on Pathfinder Puzzle's official browser-extension store page.
